ABOUT STANCEK DESIGN + BUILD

Short Version - Stancek Design + Build is North Central Florida's premier concept to completion builder. We specialize in the design and construction of Custom Homes as well as Kitchen / Bath Remodels.  Our goal is to deliver a high end product with a five star building experience.

Long Version - Hello, my name is John and I am a design and construction addict. It all started at the young age of 8 years old. When I first laid my eyes on a set of house plans. I spent the better part of the day trying to make heads or tails of it and after... I knew that I no longer wanted to be a lumberjack... I now wanted to build homes! 

In high school, while taking several years of drafting, I developed a love for great design and it would be this love that took me to the University of Florida to study Architecture. While in college it occurred to me that there was a disconnect between designers and builders. Why was this? Could they not see the importance of each other? Because of this I resolved to become both designer and builder. 

Along my journey I have worked for and with many builders, and I thank them for the knowledge and wisdom they have passed along. It is now my absolute pleasure to meet people, understand their building needs, and design a creative, and functional solution to their problem.
